Nurettin Top\u00e7u, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ahl\u00e2k merkezli d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin en g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc temsilcilerinden biri olarak, Cumhuriyet d\u00f6nemi fikir hayat\u0131nda \u00f6zg\u00fcn ve derinlikli bir yer edinmi\u015ftir. Onun \u00f6nemi, yaln\u0131zca bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcr olmas\u0131ndan de\u011fil; ahl\u00e2k\u0131, isyan\u0131, iradeyi ve hareketi merkeze alan b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fckl\u00fc bir d\u00fcnya g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f\u00fc in\u015fa etmesinden kaynaklan\u0131r. Top\u00e7u, modernle\u015fme s\u00fcrecindeki T\u00fcrkiye\u2019ye Bat\u0131\u2019y\u0131 taklit eden de\u011fil, kendi ruh k\u00f6klerine yaslanan bir medeniyet tasavvuru \u00f6nermi\u015ftir. Bu y\u00f6n\u00fcyle hem muhafazak\u00e2r d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce gelene\u011fini hem de yerli entelekt\u00fcel aray\u0131\u015f\u0131 derinden etkilemi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1909 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u0130stanbul\u2019da do\u011fan Nurettin Top\u00e7u, lise \u00f6\u011frenimini \u0130stanbul Erkek Lisesi\u2019nde tamamlad\u0131ktan sonra devlet bursuyla Fransa\u2019ya g\u00f6nderildi. Bordeaux ve Strasbourg \u00fcniversitelerinde felsefe \u00f6\u011frenimi g\u00f6rd\u00fc; 1934 y\u0131l\u0131nda Sorbonne\u2019da \u201c\u0130syan Ahl\u00e2k\u0131\u201d ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 doktora teziyle felsefe doktoru unvan\u0131n\u0131 ald\u0131. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ahl\u00e2k felsefesi alan\u0131nda yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f en \u00f6nemli metinlerden biri olarak kabul edilir.

T\u00fcrkiye\u2019ye d\u00f6nd\u00fckten sonra uzun y\u0131llar lise \u00f6\u011fretmenli\u011fi yapt\u0131. Resm\u00ee akademik kariyer yerine \u00f6\u011fretmenli\u011fi tercih etmesi, onun d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce d\u00fcnyas\u0131yla uyumlu bir tav\u0131r olarak de\u011ferlendirilir: Top\u00e7u i\u00e7in as\u0131l mesele, gen\u00e7 ku\u015faklar\u0131n ahl\u00e2k\u00ee ve ruh\u00ee terbiyesiydi. 1939\u2019da \u00e7\u0131karmaya ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 Hareket dergisi, \u00e7evresinde bir fikir halkas\u0131 olu\u015fturdu ve \u201cAnadolu irfan\u0131\u201dna dayanan bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce \u00e7izgisinin merkezi h\u00e2line geldi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Top\u00e7u\u2019nun d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesinin merkezinde \u201chareket\u201d kavram\u0131 yer al\u0131r. Ona g\u00f6re insan\u0131 insan yapan, hakikate y\u00f6nelen irad\u00ee ve ahl\u00e2k\u00ee harekettir. \u201c\u0130syan\u201d ise ba\u015fkald\u0131r\u0131 anlam\u0131nda de\u011fil; insan\u0131n nefsine, zulme ve haks\u0131zl\u0131\u011fa kar\u015f\u0131 ahl\u00e2k temelli direni\u015fidir. Tasavvuf, \u00f6zellikle de Anadolu\u2019nun irfan gelene\u011fi, onun fikir d\u00fcnyas\u0131nda \u00f6nemli bir yer tutar. Ayn\u0131 zamanda milliyet\u00e7ilik, e\u011fitim, ekonomi ve devlet meseleleri \u00fczerine de kapsaml\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fler geli\u015ftirmi\u015ftir. \u201cT\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin Maarif Davas\u0131\u201d, \u201c\u0130syan Ahl\u00e2k\u0131\u201d, \u201cAhl\u00e2k Nizam\u0131\u201d ve \u201cVar Olmak\u201d ba\u015fl\u0131ca eserleri aras\u0131ndad\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1975 y\u0131l\u0131nda vefat eden Nurettin Top\u00e7u, ard\u0131nda yaln\u0131zca kitaplar de\u011fil, bir \u201cahl\u00e2k mektebi\u201d b\u0131rakt\u0131.
